Here’s everything you need to make a special piece of jewellery or keepsake for that special mother figure in your life. What are her favourite colours? Does she love bracelets, or prefers necklaces, maybe a nice new keyring? So many options and so many colour combinations each piece will be unique. Suitable for ages 3 years+
Here’s the steps to make it:
- What will you make? A bracelet, a necklace, a keyring? Decide on that first then cut the string to size. Be sure to allow a little extra for tying.
- Choose your beads and start threading. You might like to lay out the beads first to organise your pattern and then begin to thread.
- You might like to write on or decorate the beads with markers – just the natural timber ones will work.
- Once you’re finished ask an adult to tie the ends together to secure your creation. We did 4 knots to be sure.
